Dr's. Wendy Dwyer and Marc Eigg Now Performing da Vinci® Robot-Assisted Surgical Options

West Ridge is pleased to provide the most advanced and least invasive gynecologic surgical options for our patients.

Robot-assisted surgery is the latest in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery.  Instead of using a large incision to perform a surgical procedure, several small incisions are used.  Using cutting-edge robotic technology, the surgeon is able to perform complex procedures as easy as if a large incision had been made.

Robot-assisted surgery is a unique, advanced surgical approach that clearly has advantages for many patients.  There are a limited number of practices and physicians who are able to offer this service.

These advanced laparoscopic surgery options are now being performed at Rochester General Hospital.
