Our Nurse Practitioners

In addition to the physicians of our group, our certified nurse practitioners are available for your routine gynecologic and obstetrical care, problem visits, and contraceptive counseling needs within our office.  Our nurse practitioners are experienced obstetrical registered nurses with advanced education and training in obstetrics and gynecology.



Ryenn graduated from the State University of New York at Brockport with a bachelor's of science degree in nursing and her master's degree from St. John Fisher College.  She joined West Ridge in 2021. 

Prior to practicing as a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a Registered Nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital.




Chelsea graduated from the The University at Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and received her master’s degree from St. John Fisher College. She joined West Ridge in 2020.

Prior to her practice as a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a Registered Nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital in critical care. 



Lillian earned her nursing and family nurse practitioner degrees from the University of Rochester School of Nursing. She very much values the connections she develops with patients and believes this improves patient care.

Lillian joined West Ridge in 2020. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery at Highland Hospital.  




Beverly Shaheen graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. with a bachelor's degree in nursing and received her master's degree from the University of Rochester.  Her nurse practitioner education focused on women's health care as an obstetrical/gynecologic clinician.

Bev is licensed in the state of New York and is a member of the American Nurses Association; the Association of Women's Health, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nurses; the Genesee Valley Nurses Association; Sigma Theta Tau; the Nursing Honor Society; Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health (NPWH); the American Association of Nurse Practitioners; and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  She is a certified specialist in injectable contraceptive counseling and a certified Grief Counselor.




Maureen received her master's degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from the University of Rochester in 2013. Her education focused on adult health with complex care needs. She has practiced as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in Urology, Geriatric Primary Care and GYN Oncology. Maureen has experience in genetic testing for hereditary cancer syndromes and pain/symptom management. 

In addition to working as a Nurse Practitioner, Maureen is an adjunct instructor for St. John Fisher College School of Nursing. She joined West Ridge in 2021.
